Euro Manganese signs offtake agreement with FeMoCat for high-purity manganese and by-products from Czech project

Euro Manganese has signed an offtake term sheet with industrial catalyst manufacturer FeMoCat for the sale of high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) and magnesium carbonate, a by-product of the company’s Chvaletice Manganese Project in the Czech Republic. The agreement outlines pricing mechanisms that align with the project’s debt finance covenants.

Once finalized, the binding offtake agreement will specify volumes and pricing for the products. The deal marks a portion of the Chvaletice Project’s planned HPMSM output, and both companies see opportunities for further expansion as demand for high-purity products continues to grow, especially within Europe.

FeMoCat CEO Tommy Heino emphasized that securing locally sourced materials for their operations in Pardubice, Czech Republic, will support the company’s expansion and product offerings, including catalysts and synthetic hydrotalcites used across various industries.

Euro Manganese, which has a market capitalization of $20.53 million, expects the partnership to enhance resource efficiency and promote circularity, with deliveries set to begin after FeMoCat completes its qualification process. The initial term for the supply agreement is set for seven years, with potential renewals.

FeMoCat, headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, manufactures catalysts for organic chemical production, while Euro Manganese is advancing its Chvaletice Project to supply the growing EV battery market.
