Mozambique Mining Mineral Group launches mobile gold mining units to empower small businesses across Africa

Mozambique Mining Mineral Group (MMMG) is launching an innovative project aimed at transforming gold mining across Africa by introducing mobile gold mining units tailored to the continent’s unique conditions.

The initiative is designed to support the growth of small and medium-sized businesses within the mining sector, enabling local communities to engage in gold mining on their own. This will not only promote decentralization but also increase transparency in the industry. The project has already received significant interest, with over 1,000 pre-orders for these mobile units. The Congo, Ghana and Mozambique have been identified as priority countries for the project’s initial rollout.

What sets MMMG’s mobile mining units apart is their adaptability, ease of use, and affordability. These units are specifically engineered to meet the challenges of Africa’s diverse landscapes and climates, ensuring reliable performance in tough conditions. According to Amram Petrosian, Managing Partner of Mozambique Mining Mineral Group LDA, “This initiative will enable local entrepreneurs to start businesses with minimal investment, reduce reliance on large mining corporations, and create new opportunities for economic development.”

By providing accessible and efficient tools for gold mining, the project aims to empower individuals and communities, creating sustainable local economies and fostering greater participation in the mining industry.
