Exploration update: Arras Minerals discovers new copper snomaly in Kazakhstan’s Elemes project

Arras Minerals (ARK.V) recently unveiled the discovery of a second copper anomaly at its Elemes project in Kazakhstan, signaling promising potential. It’s worth noting that Elemes falls outside the strategic exploration alliance between Arras Minerals and Teck Resources (TECK).

This new anomaly, named Aimandai, was pinpointed during a comprehensive field mapping and sampling campaign covering approximately 330 square kilometers and involving 31,000 samples. The geological features encountered, indicative of a porphyry alteration system, suggest significant mineralization.

Notably, the Aimandai target runs parallel to the previously identified Berezski exploration target, which spans 8.8 kilometers. Historical drill holes within this target area have returned encouraging grades of 0.80% CuEq and 0.94% CuE over notable intervals of 132 meters and 108 meters, respectively.

The Aimandai target, despite being newly defined, has yet to undergo drilling exploration, presenting an exciting opportunity for further investigation and potential resource delineation.
