Kazatomprom signs agreement with Jordan uranium mining company for joint exploration and extraction projects

Kazatomprom, Kazakhstan’s national atomic company, has entered into a collaboration with Jordan Uranium Mining Company (JUMCO) to jointly explore and extract uranium in Jordan. The agreement was signed in Amman on December 11 during the 5th session of the Kazakhstan-Jordan intergovernmental commission.

The partnership will focus on uranium mining, geological exploration, and joint research, marking a significant step in both countries’ efforts to develop Jordan’s uranium resources. Kazatomprom, a global leader in uranium production, aims to share its expertise in mining and processing, reinforcing its position in the uranium sector.
